Located inside a business building, this clean and airy cafe serves a wide variety of breakfast items such as bagels, burritos, and also lunch items such as cold/hot sandwiches, rice bowls, wraps and even bobba! A bit pricey as portions are on the small side. Fast and efficient service, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Large free parking lot.

This cafe is amazing! They have everything you’d want to try at a Korean cafe. Just look at the menu — bulgogi sandwiches, fried rice, and so much more. And the drinks? So good! I highly recommend this place. The view is great, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the space is so open and relaxing. I could hang out here all day!

Hidden gem in Foster City! I was on the hunt for a cafe in the San Mateo area that had great coffee and a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy your drink with a good book and a view. To my surprise there's almost no place like that in the area. And I have tried a good handful. Then I came across Little Late Bird that just so happens to be right across the street from where I live. I always thought it was a cafe just for the businesses in the building it's connected to. But one day I decided to come in and was very pleasantly surprised that it was the place I've been looking for all along! Cute decor that makes the space bright and inviting, great food, extremely reasonable prices, great coffee, and super friendly staff! On my first visit I tried just the banana latte and was immediately hooked. My boyfriend got a refresher with the mayo and spam rice plate and he loved both. We had such a good experience we went again the very next day to try more of their items. I got the lavender latte with the breakfast croissant and my boyfriend got another refresher with the bulgogi sandwich. We loved everything again! We also brought our dog and the staff brought him fresh water and a huge dog treat that he loved. So happy to have finally found my new go to cafe :)

Little Late Bird in San Mateo is such a gem! The atmosphere is amazing- calm, cozy, and perfect whether you’re studying solo or enjoying lunch with friends by the beautiful Seal Slough Lake. I went for the first time recently and tried their boba tea plus two onigiri (tuna avocado & bulgogi) — everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. They have great snack options if you just want something light, but also full meals if you’re meeting friends for a proper lunch. The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming. The restroom is inside a larger building, but the front desk receptionist is happy to guide you. 10/10 little cafe — I’ll definitely be back!

I came here because another local spot was too busy. Very glad I found it! I came on a Sunday morning around 11, and there were maybe 10 people here, very relaxed. Since it’s adjacent to an office building, I’d imagine it would be busier during the week. They have a chill atmosphere with about 30 seats inside and 10 outside. I got an iced banana latte, half sweet, and it was delicious. I also got a good morning croissant (egg, cheddar, choice of bacon or ham). As others have mentioned the portions are a little small, but I’d say their prices accurately reflect that (less expensive overall compared to other cafes in the area). The croissant sandwich was more like a “regular” size and not, say, Costco size. I’m looking forward to eventually coming back to try their Korean food (And Hawaiian? They have spam musubi and loco-moco).

Got a large banana milk tea and it really hit the spot on a hot afternoon. Atmosphere here is super cute for a date but also chill enough to get work done. Prices reasonable as well. Would definitely support this neighborhood cafe!

Such a great little place to work (lots of seating) and/or grab a drink or bite. Got the matcha and Vietnamese coffee today and both were fantastic. Great flavor, quick service, everyone is so kind. Have also gotten the lavender coffee/latte which was awesome, too! Must try this place out if you haven’t. Lots of parking and super easy to find a spot.

Cute decor, clean, fast and friendly service. I ordered the banana latte, Good Morning burrito, spam musubi and Bra-vo Toast to go. I am a bit sad that my fried egg was refrigerated cold, I’m only a 3 min drive away. But the banana latte is definitely my new favorite drink. I can’t wait to return to continue exploring the menu.
